Christine Ward is British and currently living in the US. She is a consultant for The Clinton Global Initiative. From 1994 to 2004, Christine was President of Chances for Children, Inc. a New York based non for profit founded with The Duchess of York. Prior to this, she was an Executive Assistant to The Duke and Duchess of York at Buckingham Palace.
Other initiatives Christine has undertaken include working with the local communities of Bedford and Katonah New York to rebuild the village of Denuwala in Sri Lanka, after the devastation of the Tsunami. She traveled to Pakistan in December 2005, with Refugees International to assist with earthquake relief and upon her return raised money through a local event called Cashmere for Kashmir. Christine will be returning to Pakistan in November to view the implementation of projects funded by the money raised. She has also been involved in Buskaid to teach children in the townships in South Africa how to play classical music. Christine is married with four children.
