Host Biography - Karen Humphries Sallick

Karen is the President and founder of The Priority Group, Inc.  
The Priority Group was founded in 1996 with the primary business goal of offering highly personalized service to companies who not only need strategic thinkers, but more importantly, need strategic facilitators to assist them with their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) goals.

It was also founded with the primary personal goal of offering an environment where family and spirituality were balanced with career to support happiness and life satisfaction.

Prior to founding her company, Karen was the General Manager and creator of the Marketing Planning and Analysis Unit of Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing. Before joining Harte-Hanks, she was the Director of Strategic Planning and Customer Development at Barneys New York.  Karen also worked on Wall Street in corporate finance for Goldman, Sachs & Company. A graduate of Phillips Academy Andover and Wesleyan University, she is a teacher and lecturer on the subject of database marketing strategy and has published several articles on the topic.

Spirituality has always been an integral part of Karen’s life.  She practices Buddhism.  The spiritual diversity of her team at The Priority Group led Karen to examine the ways that many different spiritual paths can be integrated into the workplace creating a harmonious and tolerant space.  Honesty, compassion and generosity are the most highly regarded values among the team.  Family and community service commitments are strongly supported by all team members.  Karen continues on this path, learning every day.

Karen lives in Connecticut with her husband, two children and two dogs.
